NL, you are certainly not alone!

I've had lots of MRI's with no problems but last time I did start getting a tad panicky. And yeah, what Fin said - I hate that cage thing they put over your head! They give me headphones and ask what music station I prefer but inevitably it's not set perfectly on the station and there's a lot of static, which adds to the noise of the machine - not comforting at all! I had trouble holding still for so long, which I think added to the panic feeling.
