I've been on Provigil since 2003. At times I was on it on an everyday basis, and other times on a PRN basis. My dosage has ranged from 100 --200 mg (either as one dose or 2 divided doses). Overall I like it and have had few side effects.

I haven't had those problems with it; but I've found that how you time plays a big role in how it worked. What I mean is the time it takes for it to reach its full effectiveness, how long it works for and subsequently, when it starts to wear off. This is different for each person; but for me it took 2-3 hours for it to reach its full effectiveness, last about 6 hours and would start to wear off. So, I had to make sure I kept that in mind when planning my day and make sure I took the med when it would be needed most.

Another thing I think many people forget when taking provigil, is that it is not a "cure all" per say when it comes to engery and fatigue. It won;t give you a buzz (or it shouldnt) or endless energy. I still got tired, I still got still sleepy, but it kept me from falling asleep and has allowed me to keep doing a lot of my daily activities and function better. So it has been a Godsend.

Having said all that, I'd give it a little more time, and with your doctors permission, consider adjusting your timing and dosage....
