Default try a pickle...

pickles- actually vinegar works for me. In fact, any acidic food or liquid does the trick, ie tomato, orange, orange juice. I now have tos including arterial impingement bilaterally post motor vehicle accidnt. The remedy still works so far but I was concerned about the phrenic nerve which innervates the solar plexus or diaphragm. (travels through brachial plexus as I recall, somewhere around the shoulder area as shoulder pain can be indicative of an injury to the diaphragm or adjacent structure, but in the case of tos is likely related to the nerve impingement.) My hiccups have just started,my diagnosis after progressive symptoms was only made 4 weeks ago. hope this helps
