If you're going to have the doc call something in for you...
Silvadene (not sure that's spelled correctly) works GREAT!!
It's only available by prescription, it is for burns, and it WONDERFUL!!
That's what the docs gave me when I had a 3rd degree burn on my hand. I barely have a scar now.
