Hey Blue! I think you would fit right in the quilting world!

I learned to quilt from a good friend of mine, who has since died. What she taught me was invaluable. You certainly can learn on your own. Look in the library for quilting books and start playing! Or look into taking a beginner's class at a quilt shop or sewing center.

I prefer handquilting, but also do machine (not the long arm like Yorkiemom!) I don't have space for that machine! machine quilting, I found is really good for quilts that will be washed a lot (kid use type stuff).

I hand piece and machine piece. I used to never be found without some handwork! I'd like to get back in that habit!

Quilting is so much more of a therapy than you can ever imagine!
