If you have a volunteer town, your taxes pay for the sharps disposal from all residents in most states. The local clinics will also take um. My trash dump says SEAL it with duct taped and make sure it was marked well and bring it to them. As long as it was well sealed they would take it there for a $2 fee.

Depends on your community. As I said, only the county health dept. will take a Sharps container in mine.
I will probably try a BD clipper when my current container is full.
