Your subject of PAIN caught my attention....big time! I hope you're able to see your doctor to make sure you didn't mess up your knee or anything else. Kind of sounds like the pain I have 24/7 with fibromyalgia, but I really, really hope it isn't. Sometimes an "episode" like a fall, etc., seems to set it off. It is pain in the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue. Nothing seems to help mine very much except plain old Aleve (2). Mine started about 12--13 years ago when I was on Avonex.

Think the nurse hit a nerve with an injection and that's when the literal pain in the butt started and has progressed throughout my entire body over time. Yes, I do have lots of spasticity in my legs and back, but that's a different kind of pain -- more like when you stretch too far. MS sure is the pits!!!
