I'd do the baclofen, and do the whole pill this time! If that doesn't help, call the doc. You might be able to get a different scrip for the pain, but the baclofen will do the trick if it is spasticity.
What amount of baclofen are you prescribed a day? I am on three times a day, although there are many days when I don't take them all. When I am spazzing, I am on them as prescribed or better, as in every six hours or so.
Hope you feel better soon! Let us know how it goes!

I ended up taking 1 and a half Baclofen last night. (took the half after I posted last night) and then I took 600mg of Ibuprofen. When I woke up this morning, the only part of me that was still sore was my right leg and my lower back. So, I think most of the pain last night was spasticity, and it was making the sore leg more sore. I could tell that the Baclofen helped a LOT.
I was Rx the Baclofen in November, and the bottle says that I should be taking one pill (10mg) twice a day. I dont use it that often because it knocks me out. I take it at night when I need it...which hasnt been all that often.
Last night was the worst night for me in the spasticity department. I was so sore last night! It seems like the spasticity leaves me alone for most of the day, and it likes to start picking on me in the late evening.
I was going to go to my regular doctor today for the sore knee, but I woke up to a blizzard this morning, and the Omaha PD is saying stay off the roads unless you have to. So, I'm going to wait till the storm is over tomorrow to go talk to my doctor about the sore knee/leg.
I wish it wasnt snowing. Right now I'd love a Quizno's sandwich and their sea salt and malt vinegar potato chips. I'm starving! I might just have to venture out into the snowy tundra to get a sandwich. (and to get my mom a bread bowl of soup)
My dad should be home in a bit...maybe he'll go with me (someone has to hold the sandwiches and keep the soup from sloshing)
