LinJane,

Don't Moms and Type A go together? We can do it all, right? LOL! Because we are so bad at setting limits for ourselves, you may need to set one and get your daughter and dh to help see that you follow it. Something like no more than 2 hours driving at a stretch, with a 10 minute break at the 60-minute mark. Then let dh or daughter take a turn. Decide beforehand how far you will attempt to make it that first day - 12 hrs? Book a place to stay ahead of time so you won't be tempted to keep on going "just a little further." Divide the driving so you are doing no more than half, in thirds if you can let go of things that far.

Remember, you want to feel good when you get to your destination - and you don't want the TOS beast to rear it's ugly head for the worse as a result of THIS vacation. Maybe some Xanax are in order to help deal with hubby's driving? (LOL!) I can relate - my husband gets RIGHT on the bumper of the car in front before he decides to pass - makes me crazy!!!

Hope you have great weather and the drive goes smoothly.
