Thanks everyone for the replies everyone, I really appreciate them.

My nurse attatched to the pain team rang my mom this morning - they think that I will have to go to theatre to have the toenail cut out due to the infection and RSD. My nurse is having a word with my pain doctor when he is back at work tomorrow, so hopefully we will know more then. She says that my doctor wants to assess the new spasms I am having in my leg asap.

Imahotep, my moms tried to get the ingrown toenail out but it appears to be too far down to cut plus it is hard because of the hypersenstivity.

Sandel, I have been trying to keep my legs elevated as much as possible. I haven't seen your post yet about the desensitization.
