Actually, this is EXACTLY how several of my flares started.
I even ended up at the neuro's office (actually, it was the neuro on call because mine was on vacation) because I had a wierd numb/Pain in my arms.
My reflexes seemed a little slow, but nothing too bad. Finally, the neuro said that if it was a flare, it wasn't bad enough to treat, and sent me home.
About two weeks later, the numb/pain turned into COMPLETELY NUMB. Then the numbness travelled down to my legs. I went back to the neuro when the numbness started affecting my walking. The neuro asked me to walk down the hallway towards him, so he could evaluate my walking.
I did O.K. till I got very close to him...then I tripped, and knocked him over and landed on top of him!
I've never seen my neuro so enthusiastic about writing a script for IVSM!!
