What wonderful news. You are truly amazing.
Don't be too hard on yourself about giving the dr.'s a hard time in the past. Chronic pain, frustration, powerless and fear doesn't bring out the best out in any of us (speaking from personal experience, naturally).
I am impressed with the doctor but I am even more impressed with you. You gave it one more try, even after all the bad experiences you've had with numerous neurologists, etc. AND you listened and heard what the doctor was saying to you and about you.
I am very proud of you. I am happy for you and your wife too. Good luck and hang in there.
