The pain and sensations I have: pressure - like you would feel with a UTI and the feeling that my insides are going to fall out - probably similar to women who have dealt with a fallen bladder. I also feel the pain at the clitoris. None of this affects intimacy nor do I have pain during intimacy.
This is fairly constant with a week or less a month where I feel normal again. The GYN told me everything is where it's supposed to be. She did a little experiment - she wanted to know if the pain I felt was noticeable when she touched certain areas - the uterus and bladder. Both caused the same pain I experience.
As far as my bowels - that's a hard one. I have had bowel problems since I was an infant. I had 2 to 3 feet of intestines removed by the time I was 2 years old (no nerves in that section). Since I was about 12 (?) I have had a problem with needing to go but not being able to pass "it". This was not related to constipation but to muscle spasms. To this day I still run into this problem but I have found Klonopin relaxes the muscles and allows me to go.
I don't know if any of this makes sense or helps but if you want any more information just let me know.

Thanks, Snoopy.
That's not the sensation I have been getting, and mine is not constant either (thankfully). For me, it feels similar to a contraction, but directly in the cervical area.
The reason I asked about bowels is that I noticed (this time) that there was a timing connection with the contractions and a BM. I'm not sure if that was true in the past, but I'll be watching for that in the future. I too have bowel problems, due to Ulcerative Colitis and MS . . . so it shouldn't be too hard to make the connection if there is one.
Thanks,
Cherie
