Wow, you two are young and you sure have your crosses to bear!

Sounds like your DW's employer is going to let her go. Isn't it worth your time to get the details? I mean to find out where she is falling short. Can this be improved.

If it cannot can you request that they keep DW until you are Medicare eligible?

Maybe a trial period or something like that?

Is there something the two of you can work at together where you each do something well that the other does not?

I'm talking work at home stuff.

Most employers aren't brutal but they are conscious of making sure their product is the best so they can continue to be in business. I know you know that as does dear wife.

They've given you some time, though I'm not sure what it is she is supposed to go home and think about?
