I agree with Windy, I have had the same feeling. After one of my surgeries on my lower back I felt sometimes as if someone was pouring cold water down my leg. At the time I felt more coolness than burning. It is definitly nurves. I was told by my Neuro that cooling is a good thing...the nerves are healing and regenerating. I hope this is what is happening for you.
Give your doc a call and see what light he has to shed on the whole thing...take care my dear!!
