Several of my friends really like the Bunn one with the instant brew via an always heated pot of water.
Myself, for every day use, I shoot the wad once a year and buy a new $10.00 Sunbeam 12-cupper. My coffee maker always looks clean and never gets wimpy on me. Donate the old one, take the write off and everyone wins.
I'm also a lover of the French press when I have the patience to keep it cleaned.
