I bet you don't look as bad as you think
Unfortunately weight gain and oedema are well known side effects of Lyrica and Neurontin.
If these and the bowel problems are the only side effects you have and you ARE getting pain relief then it may well be a good idea to keep going on it for awhile as your body may adjust.
Of course there are some nasty side effects that would make you want to stop immediately but this is a drug that does work for many without too much nasty stuff happening.
