Hey, Nancy.

Have you had an MRI? If you have, you might consider getting it checked out by a neurosurgeon. MS is often mis-dx'ed in patients with Chiari Malformation, the herniation of the cerebellar tonsils in the lower back of the brain. If any degree of herniation is found, and you hear, "Oh, it's barely any at all and has nothing to do with your symptoms," push for answers and get other opinions. Not all nsgs know about Chiari, so you might hear something like this. Even a nearly imperceptible herniation can result in serious symptoms for some.
