"Disability means coming to terms with not being able to do things for the one you love, You can only be for them. Up till now, my whole giving identity depended on doing things. I never had confidence in the value of my self. Now this self is all I can give, so I have to work doubly hard to make that self worthy of value. As for things I can do: make odd noises, dribble, eat messily, spray-food-not all of this is something anyone would want to share.
