Math's my thing, always has been. Went to my daughter's student lead conferences today and she gave me a minute-long math test. I could not even comprehend the questions as fast as she asked them, but once I did, I could calculate the answer very quickly. I lost all my "marks" on slow comprehension though (like she was speaking another language

).
I forget my kids all over the place.

They are well-trained, have cell phones for when they go out, and many emergency contact numbers. This is a huge concession for me because I totally disagree with kids having cell phones . . . but it's just happened too many times that I left them stranded. Even their teachers and cross-walk guards know to watch out for my kids.
When I was still working, I would start down a train of thought, and by the time I got to point 3, I had to start all over again (and again, and again). I was totally unproductive and knew it was time to leave the workforce!
