So sorry to hear about your pain. I haven’t had surgery yet myself, so I don’t have any practical advice for you. Just wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you.

I do recall discussion on the forum in the past about nerves going through a phase of “acting up” in response to the trauma of the surgery. (Anne refers to this in her post.) And it sounds as though you may have had extensive work done since you had so much scarring. Hopefully your surgeon and pain doc can reassure you that this is an expected temporary response to such extensive surgery (?) and provide serious relief to get you through this difficult period when you see them today.
