Have you heard or read anything about Bowen work?
Australia is the home of the founder so there should be many good practitioners.

The Bowen type of body work might work better for after you have some basic therapeutic PT.

Sometimes you need to ask around at clinics, hospitals to get a short list of names and places, then go in person and chat with them a bit.
usually if they are not real busy at the desk they will have time to answer some questions.

Then again sometimes you just have to go and "test drive" a place to find out how they are when they get 'hands on"

I would suggest a person with advanced training and one that is involved in keeping up to date with a variety techniques and uses many techniques as they are needed.
