All brain diseases are weird. I have a friend who is the same age as me (35) cough, and had an anyurism, brain bleed and seizure. She had to relearn everything from scratch, how to eat, walk - her husband said she held her spoon like a chimpanzee.
But she never got her short term memory back. she can't drink, so the few times I have gone out with them, she is the perfect designated driver, as long as you keep reminding her where to go. it's bizarre. We had a long conversation about brain illnesses making you lose your inhibitions about some things (in other words "who cares"). Then she got up and went to the restroom and came back kind of dancing a little to the music, saying, "you know, I think we lose our inhibitions with this brain damage."
and so it goes.....and comes.....and goes.....with the brain
