I hope that indeed the solution is just as simple as that, and that by washing them first before wear, the rash goes away

I learned about the sensitivity that some people have to newly purchased and unwashed fabrics from my Dad, who would break into rashes immediately that any new clothing came in contact with his skin.......it had to always first be washed in a gentle dtergent and thoroughly rinsed
