Just had my 6th lot of cervical facet injections, and looking forward to a good sleep at last.
I took a Tramadol about 11/2 hours prior, and this dulled the anaesthetic needle pain so much that I hardly felt it, so must remember to do that each time.
I'm starting to realise just how much poor sleep contributes to the neck and shoulder pains. There is a lot of muscle tension caused by the arthritis, and this causes more pain and then sleep interruption. So I am going to increase my muscle relaxant meds at night.
