As a teen I got a 3 yr old Palomino gelding {AQHA/Tennessee Walker} he was awesome! I had him for the rest of his life, had to put him down at age 24.
My mare I have now is a 16 yr old 14.2 nearly black coffee colored pinto breeding stock {no spots} she has a pointy star on her forehead and 2 white feet.
Her sire was a son of Sonny Dee Bar {AQHA} and dam was a tri colored pinto { arab/qtr x}
We have a couple acres so she is here at home and I can look at her out the windows any time.

OMG she is 16 already and I still haven't really ridden her except for around the corral - she bucks if you press her!

Good thing she is very pretty or I would have sold her a long time ago- I keep hoping she will mellow out
