Yes, Frank, I would strongly recommend using "water" as a form of exercise. Water allows "natural resistance" when exercising, one does not overheat (make sure pool water is not heated!), and is easier on the joints. I use water aerobics and swimming as a form of exercise

. In fact, my local chapter is organizing an exercise group to encorage members to exercise together.
