Hi Jon and a big Welcome to NeuroTalk. I know someone who had implants done at 64, but she only had one done at a time. She also went to a State school and the cost was much lower.
I think you should sit the dentist down B4 he goes any farther and get your questions answered. If you can't get in to see him, then I'd call his office and tell his staff that you need to talk to him. You are in charge and the one paying for it.
Dental implants are really a good way to go, from what I have heard.
