Mine was frozen shoulder...treated for 2 years and surprisingly just kept getting worse.Then thought carpal tunnel...and that test showed up negative.When it got so I could not llift my arm due to weakness I was sent for doppler ultrasound and was found being blocked off in certain positions.took 3 years of tests.
