Did you ever have a doctor you went to and it seemed like they didn't care? Well I did and I fired him and got into see a Neurologist who see's PN patient's and does care. He did more for me today, than my previous neuro did in the 6 months that I saw him. Out of the 6 months that I saw him, maybe I actually had 4 appointments. The previous neuro wanted to know how I was doing and I told him I felt like my neuropathy was moving to other parts of my body.

He told me, well thats what happens when you have neuropathy. OK, for one if I ever had to file for disability, this would not work for me. You need documentation. 2nd, yes this is true, but you don't come out and say that to your patient. How rude!

3rd he didn't even say lets run some tests to find out what's going on.
My new neurologist looked over my previous records and I told him what was going on. He, WOW

is actually doing something about it. He has a whole bunch of blood work that he wants to run, sending me to a gastro doctor, checking me out for sleep apnea, taking a MRI of my whole spine and doing one more test that I don't remember what it was.....
I am so

about this new doctor that I could do flips and shout it at the roof tops. Although I am still going to go to the Neuropathy Center in Jacksonville Florida as soon as my referal comes through.
thanks for listening,
Michele
