We are a new research group studying Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)using transgenic mice, rat, and primary cell culture models in conjunction with molecular and biochemical approaches and live-cell imaging. We invite applications from enthusiastic and motivated candidates wishing to complete Postdoctoral research in biological sciences with a focus on the molecular mechanisms of motor neuron degeneration in ALS. We are primarily focused on mitochondria, axonal trasnport, and the exploration of new genes in ALS.

We are a young, dynamic, bilingual group, and CIHR funded. A highly competent technician has already been hired and is foucsed on lab setup.

There are several projects available, please email for additional details.
