I will assume with a fall like that they did a brain MRI, or CT, just in the rare event it was a TIA? TIAs can manifest as numbness. Lots of things can manifest as numbness, and if numbess caused that bad of a fall, you need a good work up, several disciplines.

PN does cause numbess, but so do other things. Get a good 'going over', and soon.
