MEMORY
Hi Everyone,
I'm a new member here, but was active in reading about RSD on the other forum, I learned so much. I've had RSD since breast surgery in '96. Started the following day with swollen arm, then frozen shoulder, then moved to the other should then one hand, permanently frozen like a claw. Then I was diagnosed by a hand specialist-ortho. Then other hand then one foot and leg then the other foot and leg. Diagnosed again with full body generalized RSD.
I've had all the symptoms you all have listed. It is frustrating and embarrasing
to not remember what we have said and to who. Been thru lot of Drs. that knew very little about RSD.I now have a Dr. who has helped me mainly emotionally and getting on the right meds. He is a Pychiatrist, Neurologist, and Pharmacologist. He said that RSD affects the limbic part of your brain. and that controls memory. I too had memory loss before any meds too. I miss my life before RSD. Sorry about the spelling, lost that too.

Have any of you struggled with weight gain? It's really depressing. I'm really trying.
