The ins. in the usa, is a big joke, a huge one. We pay around 120.00 a week for our insurance thru the husbands job. I do have medicare, but thanks to someone screwing around at their office with files, mine along with others I'm sure, got cancelled. They stopped taking the payments for it out of the monthly SSDI check, and claim they sent a bill, which they never did. So they stopped it. I had to re-enroll....and of course that meant waiting for their open en-rollment dates to roll around, then once that happened, which was in Jan. thru March....they say it will take them until July 1st to get it back on. Just another way for them to increase your premium. I was one of the lucky ones that got suckered by them this round...so keep a close eye on yours folks, if you happen to have it auto deducted from your monthly check.

So when July rolls around, I'll have my medicare back. But, even with that, they won't approve the freezing. They will only pay on the burning.

As for my RSD, I have lifetime open medicals on that, and work comp will have to pay any and all bills that involve the RSD arms. So far they have paid every cent. I've never had to fight them on anything. I'm one of the lucky ones when it comes to work comp.

And yes, Tayla, I can have the surgery I prefer, if I pay cash for it. Which would cost around 10k to have the partial hyst. Or the Freezing would cost around 6k.

Being on medicare, and raising two teens, one starting college, I can hardly afford that...
