Hi Sandy, Sorry to hear about the accident. Those darn college students Do you think seeing the memorials brought about your anxiety attack? I'm not sure I could handle it. I don't know what I think about the building being torn down. It does seem like a waste of tax dollars, but on the other hand I do not know if I could handle teaching in it or having my office there.

I live in east cental Illinois -- Charleston. It is about 45 miles south of Champaign. Now they are saying we may get a 1/2 inch of ice and then about 4 inches of snow on top if it. I would rather just have the snow. I am also supposed to get my hair highlighted tomorrow. I do not want to cancel that; the grey is beginning to show

My visit to the opthometrist went well; no sign of damage to the optic nerves. I do have a few tears in one eye that is causing floaters. Doctor was not sure what is causing the pain -- maybe a continuing sinus infection.

Now I am off to a retirement dinner. Hope the freezing rain holds off until I get home.
