Once you turn 50 in Australia, mammograms are free and they suggest you have one every 2 years.

Under 50 years old, I believe it's a case of requesting referral from one's doctor, unless there's reason to suspect there may be a problem.

If yee women out there are over 50 and have NOT had a mammogram yet.....get thee to thy doctor's to arrange one, post haste!!

It only takes a few minutes......and they do squash all shapes and sizes into said mammogram machine......

It doesn't hurt, but it can be a tad uncomfortable, but at least knowing you don't have breast cancer should be worth a little discomfort....surely!
