Just a quick scan shows me that the only other choice is typical OTC meds and morphine or demyrol. Unless you are in a pain catorgory of 10 all day, every day, like a cancer patient...I don't see that being prescribed for average chronic pain....I suspect if you go to a doc and ask for morphine, he'll put you down as a hypochondriac seeking med's as a druggie
