Three o'clock! That's getting-up time, not going-to-bed time!
Welcome to the neighborhood. I love your user name!
I always thought the gain an hour, lose an hour concept was such a crock, especially when my kids were small. Everybody with kids KNOWS that you never "gain" sleep.
In the spring, you lose an hour because the kids wake up at the same time no matter what you do with the clocks during the night.
In the fall, you put the kids to bed, turn the clocks back, then stay up late to enjoy your "extra" hour. Guess what? You end up losing another hour!
At two hours loss per year, by the time the kids are 18, you're about two days behind everybody else.
