Default Really not sure....

DH has been seeing a psychiatrist for a year and a half for "anger issues". (Just to calm everyones possible fears, its nothing that's been acted upon physically with anyone in the family). This past session, the doctor told him that medication had taken him as far as he could go, and that from now on it was nothing but a crutch, and if he had any desire or hope to get off the meds, then he would need to start working forward in actual therapy sessions. So he gave him a couple names of psychologists to check into, and told him he was officially diagnosing him with PTSD.

Hubby was an EMT for 12 years, and a firefighter for 13 years. The last two years he spent as station chief, and toward the end there was an accident where one firefighter passed away, and another maimed for life.

My question, I guess, is how.... if there is anyway.... do I help him with this? Or is my only job to be supportive, and him have to knock it out himself? Any comments, hints or suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Thankyou.

God Bless You and Yours!!!!

Dawn
