I'm a Vista user with 3 machines running it now. Since I work in the high-tech industry, I need to learn to use new operating systems and such to keep up with technology. I've used computer systems since 1983, and have learned everything from CP/M to Solaris with JCL and VAX/VMS thrown in the pile as well. There's a lot more going on in Vista than in any operating system before, and a lot more than what meets the eye with its pretty interface.

Being a first adopter of the new operating systems has put me through a couple of the growing pains like poor drivers and other hiccups. But I can say once these bugs are worked out, Vista will be quite the OS even if the press doesn't think so. If I recall, there were some bad things said about XP similar to what has been said about Vista, but they all seem to be forgotten now. It's funny how time changes one's outlook on even the worst thing to come along since Windows 3.1.

I've finally gotten used to my new medication schedule and my nausea is subsiding quite a bit. The gum chewing and sitting very still helps a lot. The only problem left is that darn fatigue. I can't get away from myself and with me newly refound mobility. I'd love to start playing the piano full force again, but I can't get more than an hour in before I'm completely fried. I'll be just warmed up and start back on a project I intiated a few years ago when my steam runs out. I'm actually sleeping well, which is a good thing, but I'm pretty dead on my feet by Wednesday. By the time the weekend rolls around, I end up sleeping all day Saturday and a good part of Sunday as I try to recharge the batteries to no avail.

My boring web406 class is killing me physically and I know that and is another burden on me, but I don't want to waste the money - $1500 or close to it is a lot of money to waste so I'll suck it up and ride out the next 2 weeks and get the class behind me.

I'm not sure if this bothered anyone else, but how'd you deal with the time change? This has throwm my schedule off big time and it's taking me a lot of work to get on it again. Today I'm very tremulous and stiff whereas before the time change, I was feeling pretty well. Hopefully after the schedule adjustment things will work out.
