Steve,

This has to do with the software that makes the video card talk to the rest of the system so in effect, there is a problem with the vdeo driver. You may want to check HP's web site for updated drivers for your system. Their driver download is excellent. You choose your PC model, and then a webpage comes up with all the updated drivers you need.

Once you download the driver, (It's an .exe file), You run the program just like any other and follow the prompts on the screen. Reboot as necessary aftwerwards.
