For me, if it's something I would've seen a normal doc for before MS, they are the first people I call. Like sinus problems, etc. I had vision issues and went to make sure my eyeballs looked good first before I called the neuro.

Now the electric shock-like pains I have - that was a direct call to neuro when they started. Couldn't think of anything else that could have been causing it.

This is probably from my past experiences of things being "swept under the rug" so to speak. I've learned to never assume anything the hard way. Still don't like docs much, but will always try to find out what's going on with me.
