The problem I have is also in heavy traffic when you have to slow down and speed up on the interstate and I can't use my cruise control. My PD is on my left side, but I have a problem with pain in my right leg, usually when I walk without my cane because I drag my left leg, but also when I am driving. So I think it is only indirectly related to my PD. Sunday I had a busy day in the city and didn't use my cane all the time, and then driving home my leg hurt so much when I had to press the brake pedal, that I am starting to worry that in the future I might have trouble putting on the brakes.
