Thanks Doody! I am so glad you enjoyed the pics I really am glad they came out so good. I just love the pics as they really showcase how cute he is!

Hi BMW!

Here is a care sheet from the site I got all my info from:

.

I would say they aren't difficult to care for but you need to invest time and money in their care, so if you're interested and want to do it right give that a read over and see what you think, like if you could swing all the accessories a turtle needs. Also check out this GREAT forum:

.

Things have been kinda rough, but the turtle has helped me so much! I am not nearly as depressed. Though I am not using my Cpap, I got tired of the pain in the morning on my teeth from the mask being too big and not being in the right place and I haven't yet called the medical supplier to see about a replacement one in a smaller size so once I do that I expect to be using it again.
.

So good to see you're still here, if you have any questions on turtles just run them by me, there is a schedule and routine you have to get established and I think it's more then just a child could do, unless they were a devoted teen and loved their pet turtle.
.
Which of course could happen if they are as smitted by a new turtle as I have been with Mr. T, who we're not sure if he's a boy yet, they need to be about 4-5 inches before you can accurately determine gender.
.
And my little guy is about 1 1/4 inches still.
.

Here is one more cute pic of him in my hand to give you an idea of just how small he is:
