Nope. Northern Idaho is bit more moist and hilly than Southwestern Idaho. Eastern Idaho is alot flatter and gets more snow and is a bit more hot in the summer...the middle part is mostly Wildernes, http://www.wilderness.net/index.cfm?...eView&state=id

It's beautiful, especially by air! Lots of fishing!

We are in the Columbia Basin so it's mostly high desert, but not desert as you would think desert sand and tumbleweed.

Boise is known as the City of Trees for a reason. Lots of trees. Hells Canyon National Park runs through the state as does the Snake River and several other well known rivers. We are one of the largest areas for white water rafting and fly fishing!

Gee, maybe I should be on the Tourism Board for Idaho!


PS No Howling Windstorms!

Sorry, we do have mosquitoes...but they are small...they don't carry off small children!
