So...so true..

I was told by one nurse that the only way to deal with emotions was too "SUFFER IN SILENCE"

When i asked for painkillers three days after admittance to hospital, another nurse asked said " You hurt yourself so viciously, and now you want pain relief....tut tut [under her breath]

Another crass thing in the UK Is if yur under the influence of alcohol [no PSCH doctor will see you until you pass a breath test] as 90% of attempted suicide falls into this feild, the chances are most people will be in hosptial feeling the way they do, but not be seen too when they need it most.

I think there is a need for some sort of attendance of someone who can be empathetic on hand, even if its just to calm down an individual [plus to oversee they are treated with humane respect]
