Lightbulb I have read the Limbrel chemistry carefully...

It is basically the same mechanism as EFA metabolism. So why pay all that money when Fish oil does the same thing?

I consider it valuable as an introductory product targeting doctors, so that the sales force is educating them about inflammation, which the drug companies do NOT do typically.

For Peter's sake, I am not surprised he is seeing results. Mobic IS potent, but it does not have in the LONG term good safety issues. So Peter, you will have to consider the benefit vs risk ratio of this drug compared to your pain levels.

There is neither protection nor advantage to Mobic and the prevention of heart attacks and GI bleeds.

If your insurance pays for Limbrel, then go for it. It does not have any harm potential that I can see. But if your insurance won't cover it (Medicare or Medicaid), then plain old fish oil is an affordable alternative.

I continue to boogey along with SAMe... I credit this with keeping me mobile and in minimal pain.
