Thanks, from what Ive read you dont always have all the symptoms present. When i barely touch the area it hurts, but because my incision, or affected area, is on the side of my leg I am able to handle clothing-well except jeans. I have this weird sweliing thats right above my knee (in pic) that is hard and stops at a line and no one can tell me why it doesnt go away. My knee is shiny and a different color. My foot changes color, even in the drs office. At least she thinks its some nerve pain and it sounds like the treatment would be the same for both. I started the lyrica last night with my hydrocodine and for about 30 mins the pain was actually better!!! It wasnt gone, but i would say about 75% better and then it kinda wore off a bit. I was excited, it seems like it worked. I will take it again tonight and then slowly up the dose this weekend when I have time to deal with the side effects.. When i told the dr about the pain and that my foot turns colors, (it did in her office), she was a bit baffled, Im not certian that is something that happens with a normal nerve injury. Either way, hopefully im on the right track.
