Mrs. D. gavd excellent advice. Since I have been battling a chronic yeast problem for the past 4 years, in addition to the candida diet, these are a couple of things which might be of help:
all cotton underwear, and don't use dryer sheets when drying clothes.
My Gyn doctor had me make up boric acid suppositories, and use for a period of 2 weeks when the normally prescribed medications did not work, including 13 courses of Diflucan in one year (I am not diabetic), and this is also recommended by Dr. Elizabeth Stewart, MD, FACOG, author of "The V Book".
It was also recommended that I take a probiotic, Culturelle.
At the current moment I am yeast free.
I realize that your friend may not have time for all of this because of her multiple duties with 5 children, plus the twins, but hopefully some of these suggestions might help.
