I didn't work yesterday and am not supposed to work until my dr is back in the office, but am going in for about an hour to get things organized and get some paperwork done.

I called the obgyn and she won't do surgury without the colonoscopy.

The nurse at my gp is trying to get me a referral to a general surgeon that my husband went to. He is young, good lucking, but not personable and one of those in and out guys. I don't know if anything will come of it, especially with my phobias that have to be addressed.

The prep I had to take in 2004 was nasty. Drinking salt water for 5 hours straight (which is what it tasted like) has the tendency to cause vomiting, which I can't handle. It did the job though. The reason I mention this is because they're supposed to have pills now which I imagine would be much more palitable than a gallon of sea water. I've heard good things about the pills from a few different people.

My doc is old and ugly but he's one hell of a nice guy and has great bedside manner, I was lucky to find him as I've had bad luck the last 6 or 7 years with docs (mostly neuros).

Again, I hope things work out for you and I'm truly sorry that you're suffering so much, wish there's more I could do, you seem like such a nice person!!

Hugs,

SJ
